# Inspections

> Plan, conduct, and document regulatory and internal facility inspections.

**Inspections management** plans and records facility inspections — regulatory surveys, fire safety, health department visits, and internal audits.

## Schedule an inspection

Create a record with inspection type, scheduled date, inspector name and organization, and notes. Status progresses from **scheduled** through **in progress** to **completed**, **passed**, or **failed**.

## Complete an inspection

When the inspection finishes, capture score, findings, and follow-up requirements. Link related [Violations](/compliance/violations) when corrective action is needed.

## Filter and export

Filter by inspection type and status. Export lists to **CSV** or **PDF**, or print a single inspection detail report for your compliance binder.
