## Scheduled medications

Due times appear on the resident's schedule. Late or missed doses remain visible for compliance review.

## PRN (as-needed) medications

PRN entries appear in a separate section. Each administration requires:

* **Reason** for giving the medication
* **Outcome** or observation after administration

This documentation is stored on the resident's medical record.

## Refused medications

Document refusals promptly. Refused doses count toward compliance metrics and appear in medication history.

## Correct a mistaken entry

<Warning>
  Never delete medication history. Use **Correct** on the entry, provide a reason, and sign the correction. The original entry remains in the audit log per Texas documentation rules.

## View history

Open the resident profile **Medical** tab for full administration history — administered, missed, refused, and corrected entries.
