Settings is available only to Administrators. It is the control center for your facility in ImaraCare. Navigate there from the sidebar under Administration → Settings.

The Breach Notifications tab is visible only to Administrators.
Facility profile
Keep license number and bed capacity accurate — they populate compliance reports and HHSC workflows automatically.
Physical plant specifications
The Facility tab includes a Physical Plant Specifications section for the structural and safety data required by HHSC 26 TAC §553. Complete these fields so they appear in the HHSC Digital Binder PDF.
Physical plant fields are included in Tab 1 of the HHSC Digital Binder PDF. Keeping them current ensures your binder is inspection-ready at any time.
Role Permissions
The permissions matrix lets Administrators grant or restrict access per page for Manager and Staff roles. Administrators always retain full access. See Role permissions matrix.
Team Access
Invite users to your facility by email, assign a role, and manage existing memberships. See Team invitations.
Sessions
View all active and recent sessions across your facility users. Administrators can terminate any session except their own — useful for offboarding or security response.
Subscription
Change your ImaraCare plan from this tab. Upgrades may take effect immediately (with proration); downgrades typically apply at the next renewal date.
Integrations
Complete Stripe Connect onboarding to collect resident payments. Return here if onboarding was interrupted. See Billing overview.
Security
Review security recommendations, enforce MFA for your facility, and configure access controls. See Security and privacy.
Data
Accept the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) when prompted — required for HIPAA-aligned operation. Acknowledge your Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) version here. Set the facility data retention period (minimum 1 year; default 7 years). See HIPAA compliance.
Breach Notifications
Track potential PHI breaches under HIPAA § 164.404. Each incident captures discovery date, affected resident count, data types exposed, and notification status. The 60-day HHS deadline is calculated automatically. See Breach notifications.
