Overview

Boarding homes are required to display specific notices in designated locations — the facility license, resident rights statement, emergency contact list, complaint procedures, most recent inspection summary, and medication assistance policy. The Posting Compliance tracker keeps a checklist of every required posting and records when each was last verified.

Viewing required postings

Go to Compliance → Compliance Management and select the Posting Compliance tab. You will see a list of all required postings with:
  • Posting name and required location (e.g., “main entrance”, “common area”)
  • Last verified date
  • Compliance status (current or overdue)
  • Photo thumbnail if a verification photo was uploaded

Verifying a posting

  1. Find the posting in the list.
  2. Click Verify Now.
  3. Optionally upload a photo of the posted notice (recommended for inspection readiness).
  4. Click Confirm Verification.
The system records the verifying user, timestamp, and sets the next verification due date based on the posting’s refresh schedule.

Automatic re-verification reminders

Some postings must be updated whenever a related event occurs:
  • Inspection summary — must be re-posted and re-verified after each inspection is finalized
  • Permit status — must be re-posted after each permit renewal
  • Annual postings — trigger a reminder every 12 months
When a triggering event occurs, affected postings are automatically flagged as needing re-verification and a notification is sent to all Managers.

Photo verification

Uploading a photo of each posted notice provides strong evidence during inspections that postings were current at the time of verification. Photos are stored securely and attached to each verification record.
During your next inspection walkthrough, take photos of all required postings in each room and upload them in a single verification session. This creates a timestamped record that inspectors can review directly in the app.
